International Organisation & Management (E) - Professionele bachelor
In the first year of the programme you get a variety of general business courses to make sure you are ready to kick-start your career as an international office manager. You start with an intensive 6-week dive into Business Basics and develop your knowledge in the second semester with Business Economics. You also immediately get the international component in courses like International Law and International Marketing. Start an extra foreign language: you can take French, German, Spanish and Chinese or choose a foreign language of your own choice at an external accredited institution.
In the second year, you deepen your knowledge of your chosen Foreign Language 2. Furthermore, you’ll continue to specialise in domains that are important for future international office managers:
- Work on your ICT skills in ICT Toolkit.
- Develop your intercultural communication skills and general management knowledge.
- Invest in and explore your own strengths and talents in Talent Lab 2: Personal Branding.
In the third year, you will have the opportunity to spend at least one term of study in a foreign country in the second semester. There's a reason why you chose International Office Management after all, right? International students can choose between going abroad or continuing their foreign experience in Belgium.
For whom?
- Foreign students who wish to enrol for courses taught in English or who wish to gain a bachelor’s degree.
- Flemish students who want to immerse themselves in an international environment: you follow courses taught in English, with international students. You learn to pay attention to intercultural communication in no less than three languages (English and two other foreign languages).
- Residents in Belgium who possess a foreign diploma (secondary school, bachelor or master) and who wish to obtain a bachelor’s degree in International Office Management. In order to enrol, you need to prove you master English at a high professional level (at least CEFR level B2).
