In this unique joint programme, organised by nine research-intensive universities within the Una Europa alliance, you study the fundamental aspects and values of the European Union as well as European states and societies.
Adopting a multidisciplinary approach, you reflect on the role of Europe in the world and master research skills to analyse key issues related to Europe. Through our extensive mobility programme, you will not only learn about Europe, but also experience, live and grow in an international setting.
Four key characteristics:
- You study at two to three destinations out of nine countries. Immersing yourself into different European cultures, you will develop transversal skills that are high in demand both in domestic and international work environments.
- After a joint multidisciplinary curriculum, you follow a major and a minor out of seven fields of study, benefiting from the in-house expertise of all partner universities.
- In addition to English, you learn a second European language, gaining a clear added value on the European labour market.
- Thanks to the many options, you can tailor the programme to fit your needs, interests and aspirations.
Throughout the programme, you will be enrolled in a 'start university' and a second (and possibly a third) university, depending on the pathway you choose.

The Bachelor of European Studies grants access to multiple master's programmes in Social Sciences, Cultural Studies, Arts, Economics, Law and Philosophy, depending on which university you will enroll in.
As a bachelor of European Studies, you will have a deep under standing of the complexities of Europe and European organisations, which have become increasingly important in the context of ever-deeper European integration and globalisation. In addition, students will develop a full suite of transversal skills acquired through intra-European mobility, language skills and group work carried out in a multicultural context.
You will therefore be ideally placed to take on key positions in a wide variety of leading international companies and organisations. In additional to Europe-focused organisations, European studies graduates are attractive candidates for national and subnational public services, transnational consultancy and lobby groups, national economic sectors, cultural sectors and news organisations.
